“Be kind to yourself~ Make friends with the part of you that hurts – the shadows – the flaws – the hurts – the insecurities or self-doubt . They just need a little attention . Love . Patience . Gentleness . Because nothing stops hurting and nothing ever goes away until we are able to take a good look at ourselves and embrace our presence no matter how difficult it may be . The shadow is only scary because it is the unknown and unexplored part of our deepest fears . Once you learn to greet those parts of yourself,  as any guest that enters the house of your mind ~welcome them all , each has a place~ you can begin to slowly understand what you try to hide from the world .”
