Lightly My Darling

“It’s dark because you are trying too hard. Lightly child, lightly. Learn to do everything lightly. Yes, feel lightly even though you’re feeling deeply. Just lightly let things happen and lightly cope with them. I was so preposterously serious in those days…Lightly, lightly – it’s the best advice ever given me…To throw away your baggage and go forward. There are quicksands all about you, sucking at your feet, trying to suck you down into fear and self-pity and despair. That’s why you must walk so lightly. Lightly my darling.”

  1. I am trying to learn this..I have always been so serious so much of the time. But when I get caught in pure laughter is my favorite time.
I loved this one…just loved ….thank you, my dear and lovely friend.

    • I agree, it feels so great to laugh!! They say laughter is the best medicine and I think there’s some truth to that statement. To laugh means you’re present in the moment, feeling joy which is your natural state. It’s such a cathartic thing. Glad you liked it! Xx

      • Ohhh..that makes sense how you explained that…to laugh means being in your present state. See, I would have not put that together. I always say if I don’t laugh, I wouldn’t make it..I love how you explain things.
I know laughter was not the meaning of stepping lightly..but it was the first thing that came to my mind. I really loved the entire idea of stepping lightly. I get so tired of exhausting myself with seriousness of thought.
        Ok..I’m done..hahahaha
Have a great rest of your weekend. ❤
