Osho: Accept, and then simply observe

anger-quote

“Through awareness, transformation happens spontaneously. If you become aware of your anger, understanding penetrates. Just watching, with no judgment, not saying good, not saying bad. There is lightning, anger, you feel hot, the whole nervous system shaking and quaking, and you feel a tremor all over the body – a beautiful moment, because when energy functions you can watch it easily.

Close your eyes and meditate on it. Don’t fight it, just look at what is happening. Just like you watch a storm in the sky – the whole sky filled with electricity, so much lightning, so much beauty – lie down and look at the sky and watch. Then do the same inside.”

  1. I love to come to your page when I need peace. Many things I cannot digest. That is OK. This, this today I needed. I love this one. I can relate it to my DID. It is so often a storm inside of me. My flashbacks, body memories, or even my inside itself. I think I can speak for all my selves. I love the analogy that if we could learn to just accept more and watch, would be so much more productive for ourselves, progress and health. There is so much fear there though. I am the worst one with the judgement of it. I could also use this when it comes to my fibromyalgia and migraines. But that would be much harder for me, believe it or not. Thank you for your beautiful page, and sharing these things. -CC

    • I’m so glad my page can help you feel at peace CC. That is such a lovely thing to say, thank you! ❤️ I love Osho’s idea of watching the ‘storm’ come and pass by (emotions, especially anger), because you can’t stop the emotions, but you can decide not to react or judge, just watch. And in doing thst, distancing yourself from them you kind of conquer them. And that feels like a little win to me.
